September 25th: God made us fit

Scripture:

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.  As each part does it’s own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.  Ephesians 4:16

Observations:

Paul tells us that each of us is gifted in a different way.  We are all put together differently.  Just like the body is put together, and each part relies on the other parts, we, as the Church Body, rely on other people in the body.  We challenge each other to grow and encourage one another.

Application:

I need to always remember to be challenging others to grow.  As I do the things God has gifted me with, I need to take time to help other people in the Body grow.  When we do this, the whole body will be healthy, and full of love.

Prayer:

Hey God, Help me to always be encouraging others.  I want our church body to continue to be healthy, and working as one body.  Help us to always challenge others to grow as we know this will help us stay healthy.  Thank you for Jesus and his sacrifice.  In His name, Amen.
